Your tasks:
- Report facts concerning accidents or emergencies to hospital personnel or law enforcement officials
- Accompany and assist emergency medical technicians on calls
- Replace supplies and disposable items on ambulances
- Drive ambulances or assist ambulance drivers in transporting sick, injured, or convalescent persons
- Earn and maintain appropriate certifications
- Administer first aid, such as bandaging, splinting, or administering oxygen
- Remove and replace soiled linens or equipment to maintain sanitary conditions
- Restrain or shackle violent patients
- Place patients on stretchers and load stretchers into ambulances, usually with assistance from other attendants
Your skills:
- Expertise in principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Proficiency in human behavior and performance
- Proficiency in machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Using mathematics to solve problems
- Teaching others how to do something
- Expertise in raw materials, production processes, quality control,costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Expertise in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Proficiency in principles and methods for describing the features of land, sea, and air masses, including their physical characteristics, locations, interrelationships, and distribution of plant, animal, and human life
- Actively looking for ways to help people
